About Lea Leventhal
I am a student at Skidmore College, planning to major in Sociology and double minor in Dance and Chinese Language. I am passionate about helping to improve wellbeing for underserved communities, especially kids, through a variety of ways: social justice efforts, artistic expression, holistic and compassionate (mental) health care, education accessibility, and fostering community. In 2017, I interned for the San Francisco branch of the National Park Service, producing a short film for their youth program that serves marginalized kids. That same year, I went to India with CorStone to help document their Girls First in Bihar. In 2018, I worked with Art With A Heart in Baltimore, Maryland on their public art installations and youth art accessibility programs. In 2019, I worked as a senior camp counselor for the City of Mill Valley's Park & Recreation branch in Mill Valley, California.
