About Leah Buermeyer

I am an ambitious person who thrives when contributing to something that is making a positive impact in the community. After completing my Business Administration diploma in April 2020, I enjoy applying what I have learned in my current role as the Administrative Assistant in the Department of Medical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases. I find this role rewarding as I am assisting important medical research that is impacting the global community. My background in office administration has given me a solid foundation of skills and knowledge which can now be used as an asset in many professional settings. I am a well rounded individual with many interests, and pride myself on being able to be adaptable and fit into new environments easily and quickly. After exploring the world for several years through travel, work, and volunteering, I am happy to be contributing to the Winnipeg community through volunteering, and having new adventures in my own backyard!
