I have been running the operating room and office at Longwood Plastic Surgery while continuing as a perioperative nurse. I have a passion for quality patient care and have been told that my energy and personality are important assets. In addition, having taken on administrative/management tasks provides me with an overall understanding of how a practice operates and how to maintain quality. Listed below are my responsibilities. Responsible for the overall safety of the patient pre, peri and post operation by cooperating as part of the surgical team. Organizing and providing clinical nurse leadership, delivering and maintaining quality patient care. Primary author of policies, procedures, and safety manual in accordance to Monitor and update credentials for all clinical staff. Inventory management. Central Processing management. IT / EMR manager. Facilitate Staff meetings and triage Human Resources. Staffing and scheduling.
