About Leah Garrett

Compliance Professional with a healthcare focus and 10+ years experience. My expertise is in building compliance programs from the ground up to address the 7 main OIG recommendations for an effective compliance program. I provide day-to-day compliance operations support to large groups of up to 3500+ across 15 different states and regulatory landscapes, while overseeing my own direct reports. In addition, I monitor and provide continued insight to internal and external stakeholders through routine Compliance KPI reporting to identify and mitigate trends. I bring Technical Writing experience and offer in demand business documentation, with expertise including, but not limited to: standing up document management programs, implementing supplemental policy management software, development of document standards, and creation and recommendation of necessary documents (policies, procedures, SOPs, RFPs, manuals, quick reference guides, training videos etc.) with the ultimate goal to bring understanding to the professional environment and reduce the typical frustrations associated with the training and developing of staff. I am also armed with experience in the development of business proposals and RFP's, often extending my professional compliance and writing services to small business owners.
