I work with the executive ability to support Director in administrative duties, monitoring classroom foundations and develop creative strategies that support child development for age groups 0 - 12. Develop and monitor supportive strategies for professional staff development, and ensure professionalism standards are followed. Maintain and adhere to licensing and performance standards.Currently I am working towards my goal of a dual graduate degree in Applied Psychology and Social Work through Virginia Commonwealth University.I am an intern for Central Virginia Health Services.* Participate in clinical supervision meetings with mental health professionals (as needed).* Maintain records of attendance* Assist in developing individualized or group session plans * Maintain accurate and detailed case notes for all private clients and group session participants.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesConsiderable knowledge of the techniques and principles of trauma informed care for young children, adolescents and adults (parent/caretaker).Provide a strengths based approach when engaging with clients, co-workers and/or institutions.
