About Leah McRant

My passion for art therapy began during my undergraduate studies at the University of West Florida where I majored in Studio Art with a minor in Psychology. After graduating, I became interested in combining my love for the arts with my drive for helping others. Therefore, I went on to pursue a Master's degree in Art Therapy with a Specialization in Counseling from Seton Hill University. My culminating project focused on the influence of cultural context on grief response based on my internship experience. I provided home-based art therapy services to hospice and bereavement clients in an individual, family, and group/community setting.
