About Leah Murphy

I am an highly motivated individual whose main goal is to complete given tasks efficiently and accurately while maintaining a friendly and compassionate work environment. I have been married to my best friend for 22 years. Together we have 3 amazing children and a home we enjoy. I had the privilege to help my husband create and build a successful masonry company and spent 10 years as our company's office and business manager. As the Office and Business Manager I handled all payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, contracts, bookkeeping, employee and client relations. I was responsible for any and all business transactions for our company. As our business and family grew and changed I was grateful to switch gears and have a more hands on role with my children's education as a paraprofessional within our local school districts' elementary school. For the last 7 plus years I have worked as a teacher's aide in the elementary school main office. I have worked alongside the building secretary and building administrator handling day to day office operations including confidential and important student information. My role allowed me to develop important personal relationships with students, families, faculty and staff. These relationships have all had a direct impact on promoting a positive school culture. My role required me to be flexible at all times, pivoting to meet the demands of our students and faculty throughout the building, including classroom coverage for teachers in grades K-5. I am again ready for another change of gears. I am looking for a remote clerical, data entry, customer service or general office position where I can merge my office and business management skills with the skills I learned as a paraprofessional. I look forward to learning and growing in my next role.
