While continuing my education after graduating high school I worked on the ER clerical staff @ University Hospital. After marrying started a local family owned retail office products & services business which we ran for over 20 years. This opportunity allowed learning all aspects of operating a business. Encompassing everything from HR, AR & AP, ordering merchandise, processing incoming & outgoing orders, inventory control, daily balancing cash drawer & bank deposits, payroll, taxes in 2 states for sales payroll & quarterly, training staff, delivery & set up, customer servicing in person as well as by phone,etc. That list seemed to never end. It was probably the most rewarding experience ever undertaken until it ended due to big box retailers flooding the area. Next came the opportunity to take on the challenge of in home assisted living service for a couple of years. First as a as a care giver ending there as the scheduling coordinator. From this moving into the world of financial services involved in banking the last 11 years as a teller. At this time would like to explore other avenues as now am an empty nester divorced on my own awaiting new opportunities life has to offer.
