I write about libraries, history, and books, because that's what keeps me going! I went into libraries because I like organising information and making it retrievable. I stay in libraries because I believe they're vital spaces for modern society. Making libraries better places to find ideas, spend time, and provide services is what drives me. I love cutting through red tape and asking 'why do we do that?' I've spent time designing websites, writing online content, working with Communications and Systems teams, and managing branches. Libraries live and die by their ability to adapt, and that's what will keep us fresh.
