About Leah Ortiz

Hi! I’m a recent graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, where I majored in Marketing and earned distinction through the Hutton Honors College and the prestigious Conrad Prebys Scholarship. My background blends a strong analytical foundation with client-centric thinking, allowing me to approach marketing and sales challenges with both creativity and precision. During my internship at Nacional Group, I supported both the marketing and finance teams on key projects that contributed to business growth. I assisted with campaign development, contributed ideas to improve website content and structure, and worked closely with the finance team on payroll processing and financial reporting. These experiences gave me hands-on exposure to both the creative and operational sides of business, sharpening my problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills. Outside the classroom, I’ve been a committed leader—mentoring incoming business students, building relationships through the Kelley Mentor Program, and contributing to the vibrant community within Kappa Kappa Gamma. Years of gymnastics instilled in me discipline, resilience, and a team-first mindset—traits I now bring into every professional environment. I’m actively pursuing full-time opportunities in marketing, advertising, or client success roles that value strong communication, strategic thinking, and relationship-building.
