Currently, as a Contract Specialist at the U.S. Army Contracting Command, I apply my research, writing, and critical thinking skills to ensure optimal decisions for the procurement of goods and services for the U.S. Government. With several years of robust experience in the contract management field, I am currently executing cradle-to-grave acquisition processes and contract modifications in line with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS/DFARS PGI), Army Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFARS), Defense Pricing and Contracting (DPC) guidelines, and U.S. Army Contracting Command policies. My proficiency in contract management is backed by the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) DoD Contracting Professional Certification which I achieved through rigorous training within 14 months, setting an organizational record. In addition to this, I led teams in leasing operations and contributed to the development of company guidelines adhering to housing laws and fair housing regulations. I am dedicated to breaking barriers and fostering inclusivity, with servant leadership at the core of my professional journey.*Physical Location is in Kansas, but I meet all residency requirements for the state of Texas.
