About Leah Sheppard

I am the Founder of Her.0 and began my journey in breakup recovery research and coaching over 10 years ago. Finding myself on the edge of a train platform after a bad breakup I realised there was nothing to stop the pain, and nothing I could afford to figure out why. Fed up with endless grief and rejection, I started my own journey of discovery - to empower myself with knowledge, confidence and inspiration, and share it with others in the same desperate situation. I also became a volunteer speaker for BeyondBlue sharing my lived experience with community, corporate and education groups for the past 6 years. My career began as an Art Curator working in some of the top arts and cultural institutions across Australia and New Zealand including the National Gallery of Australia & The Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa; It is this foundation of knowledge and lived experience that has allowed my to be in the unique position to lead such a venture like Her.0.Curating is taking a work of art, piece of history or container of research and translating it for an audience in a way they can understand, engage and enjoy it.That is what Her.0 is to me; and the insight we are sharing around breakup recovery has the capacity to change, or save, someone’s life.
