About Leandra Purvis

Hello! My name is Leandra Purvis and I am a recent graduate of The George Washington University majoring in Business Administration concentrating in Events Management and minoring in Journalism & Mass Communications. Currently, I am focused on pursuing different roles in the travel and tourism industry. I deeply enjoy working with clients and creating a memorable experience for them whether that’s planning their wedding, personal celebration, or their travel plans while staying at the property I work on. Through college I was exposed to education and experience in the tourism and hospitality field and immediately loved the idea of helping individuals plan their dream getaways. I have several years of experience working in hospitality at a nationally recognized restaurant and inn. I also have experience in the arts and event planning, working with individuals to plan and execute their event visions. I am looking to work for organizations that are future-oriented, people-oriented, and are looking to push the creative boundaries of their industry. I enjoy working in creative, team-based environments that are focused on a unified goal, but I also am incredibly driven and can work well from a remote environment with minimal oversight.
