About Leandra Rochala

I’m an Engineering Manager with a keen interest in AI. I’m glad to be on the journey of how it’s going to reshape the way we build, ship, and support software. I use AI tools to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, detect vulnerabilities earlier, and enhance developer productivity. I’m excited by the potential of AI-assisted development, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation to remove friction and unlock creativity across engineering teams. My goal is to translate these technical capabilities into real business value. In addition, I have experience building high-performing teams, improving delivery practices, and turning complex technical challenges into measurable business outcomes. Over the past decade, I’ve led cross-functional engineering teams across sectors including fintech, wagering, and consulting, helping organisations like Sportsbet, Accenture, NAB, and Tabcorp modernise their platforms, strengthen their security posture, and deliver value faster. My leadership style blends empathy with accountability. I believe great engineering culture starts with trust, autonomy, and a focus on continuous improvement.Core Skills & Interests* AI-Assisted Development and Automation* Engineering Leadership and Delivery Uplift* Agile Coaching and Team Building* Platform Modernisation* Continuous Delivery, CI/CD, and Observability* Technical Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement* Security, SRE and Incident Management (PagerDuty, ServiceNow, Snyk)* Cloud Cost Optimisation and Governance
