About Leandra Swanson

I am an LPN who has experienced many different aspects of nursing since graduating nursing school in 2007. I have absolutely enjoyed everyopportunity of my career thus far. I have worked in surgery, acute rehab, oncology, pediatrics, orthopedics, mental health and my biggest passion is long-term care. I am very drawn to the elderly especially those diagnosed with Alzheimers and other forms of Dementia or Mental Illness. I have held positions in management which alotted me huge growth opportunities as both a nurse and an individual. I am someone who believes everything in life happens for a reason and truly feel blessed to be where I am now. I am first and foremost a caregiver. Taking care of patients is what I do and where my heart is. I love being a part of a team environment and am hoping to one day find a position in management that will still allow me to grow as well as maintain frequent patient contact.
