As VP Brazil at PLS, I lead the company’s strategic expansion and operations in one of the world’s most promising frontiers for lithium development. With a focus on the Colina Project in Salinas (MG), I oversee exploration, permitting, development, operations, regulatory strategy, ESG, and stakeholder relations — helping position Brazil at the center of the global clean energy transition.I bring over 15 years of experience at the intersection of law, mining, and energy, with a career built on structuring complex ventures and advising both private and listed companies. As Founding Partner of Machado Gobbo Advogados, I have led high-level advisory work in corporate law, mining law, M&A, regulatory compliance, and litigation for clients in the natural resources, infrastructure, financial, and media sectors.Across roles in companies focused on lithium, uranium, gold, copper and tin, I’ve helped launch and scale Brazilian operations from scratch — acquiring tenements, securing environmental and mining licenses, negotiating joint ventures, and building governance frameworks. Several of these ventures were later acquired by international players, including ASX-listed groups.My approach blends strategic insight, deep legal expertise, and operational execution. I also remain committed to legal education as a professor of law, with experience teaching business law, civil law, and regulatory affairs at respected institutions including IDP and UnB.I’m passionate about building sustainable, high-impact mining platforms, and enabling Brazil to thrive as a key player in the global critical minerals supply chain.
