About Leandro Palumbo

Leandro has over 20 years of experience in the engineering field, most of which were in management and leadership positions (portfolio and single projects management; people, financials, scope, schedule, delivery, and risk management). His leadership acumen is evidenced by his successful stewardship of multidisciplinary and multicultural teams. Leandro has consistently achieved high-caliber results within set timelines, even in diverse cultural and work environments, showcasing his adaptability and global mindset. Leandro considers his greatest strengths are his analytical ability, problem-solving creativity, agility, and resiliency. His strong work ethic, behaviors, and interpersonal skills further enhance his leadership abilities. Career History During his early years, he was dedicated to the management, design, and capacity analysis of airport infrastructures, both on the airside and the landside, in a diverse range of countries including Argentina, Italy, Spain, Romania, Ukraine and Poland. His most remarkable achievement over those early years was the airside design of a green field airport, the “Aeropuerto Internacional Región de Murcia” (2007-2008). Later, he supported and led the design of a broader range of transport infrastructure projects (like cargo trains, light rail trains, and roads). In November 2017, he transitioned from the AECOM Spain local business to Enterprise Capabilities. In that business organization, he has faced exciting challenges, from helping with the start-up of the EC Europe Center (2017-2018); to the individual management of infrastructure projects in various countries like Canada and Australia (2017-2021); the EC Europe Operations support (2017-2021); AECOM MAP Interviewer and trainer (since 2019 and 2023 respectively); play a key role on the Philippines Project Controls transfer team from GBS to EC (2020); accountable for EC cut-across Operations reports (since 2021); General Manager of EC the Philippines Center (since 2021); and EC Project Controls Director (since 2021). In summary, in Management and Operations areas, he has started specializing in doing things right (PMP); later, in the search for “why” he increased his knowledge in doing the right things (PMI-PBA), while kept thinking that the world is changing, therefore He has also embraced the challenge of being agile managing the change (PSM I, PSPO I)
