About Leandro Panigo

Hi, you can call me Leo. Here I am going to introduce myself and talk about my work experience related to the technology business which is the one I am interested in.My interest in technology started when I took a short course about Macros programing with Visual Basic for Excel in 2018. Then, I decided to enroll at university to study software engineering in 2019. This year, I started studing Java and object oriented programming. The next year, in 2020, I started studying algorithms and data structures subjects and I found very interesting the analysis of algorithmic complexity and the data structures used to solve different kind of problems. In addition, this year I started working as IT support technician, where I developed the following skills: operating systems installation, program and drivers installation, hardware repair and upgrade.In 2022, I paused my studies at university to take a one year full stack development course. The first half of the year I learned semantic HTML, CSS, responsive web design, SASS pre-processor to write more concise and readable CSS. Also, I studied javascript ES6 using all the features that provides this version. In addition, I acquired knowledge about dom, json, events, how to fetch data from an api, and SPA (single page application). Talking about SPA, the next step of this course was React js, learning components, hooks, routing, and context I made my first React js app.The second half of 2022 continued with backend development, developing a rest api with node js modules like express and mongoos, and mongo atlas service for the data base. On July 2022, I started working as IT auditor at KPMG Argentina. The purpose of our job is to manage the risk of information misstatement on the client’s system that could have a material impact on the accounting balances. These clients belong to many categories, such as insurance companies, banks, industrials, and commercials.In 2023, I resumed my studies at university. This year I learned the unified process model, understanding the activities and artifacts that includes each workflow. Of course I put in practice the unified modeling language to build each workflow diagram.Currently, in 2024, I still studying my engineering degree and I am aiming to get my analyst qualification by the next year. Also, I am working with spring framework to develop web applications in Java as my second job.
