About Leandro Teles

For most of my career I have been self-employed in the residential construction industry. But I have always had a keen interest in software development and, more specifically, in bringing software development together with my construction experience. Over the last few years, as a Revit BIM modeler in the estimating department of a major commercial structural concrete company, I was afforded me the opportunity to do just that. Armed with my excitement for programming, understanding of structural concrete construction, and knowledge of the Revit API, Families, and Parameters, I've been able to automate and simplify many redundant modeling tasks and bring tangible benefits to the company. I'm excited to now have the opportunity to offer such automation to architects, engineers, and contractors. As the sole proprietor of BIMDev LLC, my focus is on understanding each client's workflow, needs, and challenges, to then provide the best possible solution. That solution may come in the form of a tool that already exists, or building a custom tool as an add-in for Revit.
