About Leann Romitti

I am the founder and provider at Empowered by Counseling, my private practice in Bethel Park. My practice focuses on the unique needs of LGBTQ+, women, and relationship diverse individuals, working through various issues including trauma, anxiety, depression, wellness, just to name a few. I identify as an Intersectional Feminist and Trauma-Informed counselor, educator, and supervisor. I have a passion for working with counselors in therapy as well as supervision. Currently, I completed my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision and completed my dissertation titled "LGBTQ+ Identified Counselors: Experiences in the Clinical Workplace". My goal is to obtain a faculty position at a CACREP accredited university to continue my work in teaching, counseling, supervision, and research.
