About Leanna Warner

As a Wish Manager at Make-A-Wish® Northeastern & Central California and Northern Nevada, I use my skills and background in social work to create life-changing experiences for children with critical illnesses. I have over 9 years of work experience in social services and child advocacy, working with diverse and vulnerable populations in various settings, such as hospitals, non-profits, and community organizations. I have also contributed to multiple publications and projects on topics related to trauma-informed care, child welfare, and mental health. My core competencies include crisis intervention, case management, project management, volunteer coordination, and program development. I am passionate about fulfilling the mission of Make-A-Wish, which is to grant the wish of every eligible child, and to bring hope, strength, and joy to them and their families. I am also committed to enhancing my own well-being and that of others through yoga, which I practice and teach regularly. I am always looking for new opportunities to learn, grow, and collaborate with others who share my vision of making a positive difference in the world.
