Leanne Allen is Executive Producer and owner of LA Media Inc. Producer, Screenwriter, Actor. Proud member of the Metis nation. Currently two series in development, working in the vertical space, and always looking to collaborate with good people. LA Media's most recent series is nominated for three awards at NYC's Web Fest, with over 2M viewers. Prior to that, Producer and PM at Small Army Entertainment for Haunted Gold Rush and History's Most Haunted on T+E. Also worked as the Canadian liaison and Development Exec for Next Entertainment (The Bachelor franchise). Her media career started by publishing her own alt-weekly magazine, sold years later at a circulation of 25K to one of North America's largest publishing corporations. She then moved to radio, where she produced and hosted her own show at CBC. Then TV, where she produced her own show for KVOS TV (Bellingham/Vancouver). She produced CBC's first cross-platform pilot, a comedy citizen journalism show called Citizen Janes, then an online magazine which morphed into a pay-for-play branded content series TV show for Shaw TV where she set up a live studio audience TV studio each episode and hosted as well as produced, with a production spend of $2M, all raised through pay for play. Owning multiple media businesses, she has a thorough understanding of where brands and content merge, and when it comes to the camera, she swings both ways.
