About Leanne Anderson

I am a Senior -just-(1959 model) who has passion and drive to continue to contribute to the workforce and society; I’d say about a late 40’s vigour. In 2020 I completed a Graduate Certificate in Domestic Family Violence with Distinction and Vice-Chancellor's List for Academic Excellence in 2020. I finished in the top 2% of RMIT graduates. I decided to study in this area as it is a pervasive social issue that is relevant to any workplace and lifestyle and I wanted to be productive during COVID lockdowns. I am hungry to work with a purpose. My colleagues describe me as an influencer, a change-maker, a listener, a quick adapter, an implementer, a decision-maker, a leader, and a team builder who cares about each one in the team and the clients we serve. I am committed to grass roots connection and understanding. I like to be productive and efficient, and have time for people. It is a privilege to have lived and worked amongst those in severe poverty in SE Asia, with the incredibly wealthy in the Middle East, and in Melbourne and regional Victoria with various communities. I live in Sunshine Coast Qld. It has been an intentional decision to add broad diversity to my work and life experience. I have special interest in education that inquires and allows play; in community management, development and recovery; and have a strong capability to coordinate very successful events, building a strong team around me. I have a passion to coach those who are 'stuck' towards positive, forward action; to care pastorally; and to read lots of books with a hot coffee at my side.
