About Leanne Burgess

I am an organized, attentive-to-detail, and adaptable professional with a diverse background spanning nuclear power generation, space operations, mission assurance, and program integration. With a foundation in mechanical engineering and space operations, I developed a technical acumen that informed my transition to mission assurance. As a Senior Mission Assurance Engineer, I focused on creating and implementing standards and processes that enabled my organization to integrate safety, reliability, and mission success into all of our programs. I specialized in developing lightweight and agile processes that empower technical teams to execute their work with precision, and I leveraged automation and the SharePoint Power Platform to streamline workflows and ensure employee adherence to best practices.Currently, as a Program Integrator, I am focused on bridging the gaps between program management and functional teams in a matrix organization. I design custom, data-driven solutions that standardize tools and strategies across Geost's programs. I develop dashboards and metrics that give our PMs critical information about the cost and schedule adherence of their program. My goal is to enable Geost to continuously improve how we approach program execution while alleviating menial burdens on both program managers and functional departments.I am passionate about data analytics, problem-solving and alleviating burdens on my organization. I am most excited about my work when I am designing a solution that is practical, scalable, and right-sized for the challenges at hand. My cross-functional and matrix-organization experience allows me to see the big picture and align technical execution with organizational strategy to drive successful outcomes. My keen attention-to-detail allows me to identify issues early and implement effective solutions before those issues become roadblocks.
