After graduating with a B.A. from the University of Illinois, Leanne moved to Chicago. And kept moving. In fact, she moved more than 10 times in 10 years with several home purchases and sales in addition to many rentals. Leanne realized that she had a passion for real estate and house hunting. She learned through her own first-hand experiences what helps homes sell and what to look for in new properties. So, she decided to turn her passion into her career. Leanne transitioned from her background in the customer service industry, as a flight attendant at a major US airline, to implementing a customer service-driven approach in her real estate career. About Writing Since she was old enough to stab her stubby, little fingers on the keys of a typewriter, Leanne Gregg began putting her story ideas to paper. It was only natural that she grew up to edit her high school paper and major in creative writing at the University of Illinois where she won a Traveling Quinn award for her short fiction. She went on to work as a copywriter at Groupon, writing roughly deals during her time there. You can read her own work in publications such as Bartleby Snopes, Johnny America, and Jersey Devil Press.
