I have built my retail sales operations and management career on developing and maintaining strong client and business relations. Throughout my career, I have experienced many successes and have encountered obstacles, and even reinvented myself two times in my career to adjust to challenging employment market dynamics. In the sales, industry, rejection is something I have faced many times, and for me to succeed, I needed positivity, a strong work ethic, a solid support system, patience, and most importantly the ability to build and sustain long-lasting partnerships. From my most recent roles as District Manager, Personal Stylist & Closet Specialist, Boutique Buyer & Manager, Sales Director and Regional Manager, I have consistently met and exceeded ambitious sales targets because of my many long-term client relationships. No matter what I sold, I was able to approach my network of customers and pitch them diverse services from personal care & style to luxury brands. My personal sales philosophy is driven by the idea that I strive to make my customers feel better about themselves after they come to me for their retail needs. I only consider my sale a success if my customer walks out with more confidence and feeling significantly better than when they walked into my store. I also have an extensive retail management background, having led daily operations of various retail stores to ensure that the store-operated efficiently and drove revenue and profits. I maximized revenue by developing and executing comprehensive sales and business plans. In my career, I have turned around a local retail store that was severely underperforming and was more than $150K in debt to generating a profit by relying on my strong network of clients, rebuilding relationships with dissatisfied former store clients and Improving buying operations – all in under seven months. Throughout my career, I have applied the idea that I’m always selling to help drive my success. Once I reach out to a potential or existing client, I am representing the organization I work for and become a Brand Ambassador of sorts for the organization in which any conversation I have with clients has the end goal of completing a sale. My sales style and philosophy have allowed me to build a reputation as a motivated, positive and trusted source for my clients to fulfill their needs.
