I am a fully qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor working psychodynamically - which looks at a client's history in the present, attachment, unconscious to conscious thoughts, types of personality and much more. These are explored in a safe confidential space at the pace each client feels comfortable with. The therapeutic alliance between counsellor and client is very important including showing empathy, honesty and no judgment. I have experience working within an IAPT NHS setting as well as for an addiction charity. I am also PFOA (Police Firearm Officer Association) approved counsellor, Associate of SP Bespoke Wellbeing, Affiiate of Think Well Staffordshire, Tonic Wellbeing Practitioner and Counsellor at Improovu. I hold the relevant insurance, ICO registration, DBS check and I am an individual member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I am based in Staffordshire and I have launched Maze Counselling Services locally for face-to-face sessions, as well as seeing clients UK-wide via online and telephone counselling sessions. Alongside my Private Practice, I offer counselling services to staff, clients or tenants within organisations.
