About Lee Ames

As the Service Manager at California Custom Trailers & Power Sports, I oversee the daily operations of a large and busy dealership that offers a wide range of products and services for powersports and trailer enthusiasts. I have more than 30 years of experience in the motorcycle industry, and I have worked as a service technician, service writer, parts salesman, and parts manager. I have also gained valuable knowledge and skills in the aviation and automotive fields, where I have performed various roles related to mechanics, avionics, sales, and delivery. In addition to my passion for motorcycles, I have a lifelong involvement in motorsports, from drag racing to off-road racing. I have participated in various capacities, such as rider, driver, co-driver, crew, and crew chief, and I have organized and managed motorsports events. I am also the president of the Laguna Seca Volunteer Association, a non-profit organization that supports the operations and activities of the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. I have also volunteered as an emergency responder with the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Department Search & Rescue team. My mission is to share my love for motorsports and to provide excellent service and customer satisfaction.
