Primary responsibilities include managing a staff of multiple Regional Credit Administrators in the credit approval, administration, and review activities within the Huntington Vendor Finance Division. Work with the business unit to establish appropriate vendor programs and provide ongoing program management. Implement and manage administrative and review systems and procedures to protect the quality and profitability of the loan portfolio. Analyze and approve/decline credit requests exceeding regional approval limits. Advise staff, officers and/or business units on the company's overall lending policies.Identify potential problem credits and work with loan workout specialist to restructure credits and/or minimize risk for loss.I came to Huntington through the June 2021 acquisition of TCF Bank, where I had been employed since 2004 and served as the Chief Credit Officer of the Capital Solutions Division since 2014. Prior to that, I was with VGM Financial Services, where I served in several positions beginning in 1996, culminating as the Senior Credit Manager. Additional previous experience includes Mercantile Bank, Homeland Savings Bank, and Avco Financial Services. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from the University of Northern Iowa and I’m a native of Waterloo, Iowa.
