About Lee Bailey

I have worked in a variety of roles over my career. This has allowed me to become a well-rounded individual. I learned how to interact with people from all walks of life and typically I can communicate with anyone effectively if given enough time with them. In my professional career I have been employed for the largest producer of water soluble polymers in the world. My career started with a pseudo-internship where I would rotate through a variety of departments and learn several skills. During my rotation I was picked up as a Chemist by the Oil and Gas R&D department. As a chemist I worked on several projects for the hydraulic fracturing industry in applications testing emulsions and scale inhibitors. One of the major projects I performed was developing a brand new product that has over taken the market and replaced one of our major products. This has led me to become a project manager and take over several projects in developing instrumentation for the field and the laboratory. I also have experienced several projects in the oil field. The amount of projects allowed me to be recognized by some of the upper management in my company and it has allowed me to become the product manager I am today. This new role has taught me a lot about the supply chain and several different things that I could have never learned in the lab. The projects I have worked on have consisted of subjects ranging from product rationalization to logistical analysis to give advice on product movement. There is much to learn and I will keep striving to gain as much knowledge as possible.
