Currently, I'm a freelance writer for the Wheels automotive section of the Toronto Star, AutoGuide.com and Tractionlife.com. I also co-host an automotive video series on YouTube for Performance Productions Media Group. I was also a contributor for Wheels.ca (Metroland Media) from 2018-2023 and am the former editor for Ignition Luxury and Performance magazine. Previously, I was a contract media relations representative for the 2018 Canadian International Autoshow where I wrote, edited and helped organize and implement the show's communications strategy. Prior to that, I served as the Group Managing Editor for Performance Publications, which includes Ignition Luxury and Performance, PASMAG and Tuner Battlegrounds from Aug. 2016 to Dec. Before that I was a writer and project editor for Ignition from 2014-2016. I was also a freelance writer for Autofocus.ca (June to Aug. 2016), where I wrote about a variety of automotive topics, which mostly consisted of news items and new car reviews. From 2012-2016, I was a frequent contributor to the weekly Wheels supplement in the Toronto Star. The majority of my assignments consisted of new car previews and reviews, but I also wrote about other topics including motorsports and other issues related to the automotive industry including financing, maintenance and extended warranties. From 2009-2014, I was an editor for Ignition and Performance Auto & Sound, two of Canada’s leading automotive industry magazines. In this role, I wrote, edited and helped to manage the content flow for both publications in print and online. Prior to working at Performance Publications, I was the Media Relations and Promotions Specialist at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (formerly Mosport International Raceway) from 2007-2009. I wrote press releases, media advisories and compiled the track’s annual media kit. In addition, I fielded national and local media inquiries and pitched automotive and motorsports media for event coverage. I've also been an award-winning member of the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) since 2012.
