About Lee Bash

Serving as Dean of the Gleazer School of Education at Graceland has provided me with some wonderful opportunities and even better satisfaction. The School has successfully completed its accreditation with the State of Iowa Board of Education and the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation with full endorsement. We are completing the approval process for a new Doctor of Education in Leadership that is expected to be offered for the first time in July 2018 (assuming success with all groups we need approval from). I couldn't be prouder of a wonderful, dedicated & extremely talented faculty and staff. Our enrollment number are growing and every part of our operation looks promising. These are exciting times. On the non-musical front, I will chair my 50th+ HLC visit in the spring, remain active with the HLC Institutional Action Committee, & look forward to the 3 presentations at the upcoming HLC conference - one co-presented with Katie & two I was asked by HLC to deliver. In addition, we've continued to develop material about institutional effectiveness that we are putting together for a book we hope to have completed by 2018.
