Lee Bergman teaches standard American Speech. The first focus is on technical proficiency: breathing, relaxation, making sounds, analyzing words on the page, to begin to play with your voice. Yes! Play! Then, learn how to add your unique, personal vocal touches - your natural personality - to texts, whether in early grades, high school or college, business, or today's creative professions where voice is in demand. Lee is a veteran broadcaster, reporter, actor, and voice teacher based in New York City. He has worked with actors auditioning for theater and television, and he actively auditions in voice and other media. Discussion about further study in literature and drama - modern or classical - is welcome.
