About Lee Cassidy

Lee Cassidy is a licensed school psychologist with over 20 years of experience in Colorado and overseas. She has worked in Colorado, Morocco, South Africa, and Vietnam, and China. Lee enjoys the dual role of a counselor and school psychologist. She provides comprehensive counseling and school psychological services that include providing mental health services, psycho-educational assessment, and collaboration with special education, classroom teachers, parents, and administration. She is a confident assessor and is proficient in administering a wide range of tools used to describe students' cognitive, academic, executive and social-emotional functioning. Lee is also experienced providing social-emotional support to students individually and in small groups for students in 1st grade-21 years old. She has taught SEL in classes PK-8th grade. Classroom and learning support teachers appreciate her professional development in observation techniques, understanding assessments, and working with students who have difficulty understanding social interactions. Parents have benefited from her workshops on topics ranging from Emotional Coaching, Resilience, and the need for sleep and strategies to improve it. Lee believes in lifelong learning and engages in regular professional development. She is a member of the National Association of School Psychologists, American and International School Counseling associations (ASCA and ISCA). She maintains and renews her School Psychology license through the Colorado Department of Education where she has held it since 1995.
