About Lee Chambers

Lee Chambers spent the early part of his career in the broadcast media field, including WNBC / New York and KABC / Los Angeles. His broad management background has included positions as Program Director, Music & Research Director, Promotions & Marketing Director, Production & Imaging Director and most recently, New Media Director. Over 20 years ago, he began the transition into the New Media universe and has since become a specialist in helping organizations bridge the gap between traditional and New Media applications, guiding firms in the creation of compelling and relevant content, generating non-traditional revenue streams, expanding brand awareness and generating consumer engagement on social media platforms. During his tenure with the ABC Radio Group, LA, usage of the four stations’ web sites grew exponentially, up to 245% in one case and was matched with unparalleled growth in each station’s database of frequent listeners. Then-new platforms of distribution such as SMS text messaging, RSS feeds, podcasts and downloadable audio, blogging and social media presence were all introduced under his guidance. Similarly, listener usage of streaming audio skyrocketed after his re-introduction of such services following resolution of issues pertaining to AFTRA talent residuals and RIAA royalties. Concurrently, NTR opportunities he created resulted in dramatic increases in revenue for the Sales departments, often in association with client promotional ventures on the station’s websites and over the air.
