With more than 25 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, I help people by offering a distinctive blend of my professional investment experience and personal service. After many years as a successful Financial Advisor & owner of a boutique investment management practice I sold my share of the practice to my partner in 2021. We built a practice that started with the two of us to one with over 10 employees and more than $500M in AUM. Not quite ready to retire, I have moved onto other opportunities within the Financial Services industry. I have joined a socially responsible firm helping distressed student loan borrowers refinance their debt. My role is to help the company, Yrefy (Why Refi) raise capital from Accredited Investors and RIA's. I also work Recruiting Financial Advisors. With my years of experience and owner of a practice, I bring to the table my understanding of how being at the right firm can firm can positively impact your career and trajectory. In my recruiting role I am looking to connect with Financial Advisors who might have some interest in exploring and learning about how another frim might enable them to take their practice to the next level and beyond. I feel that I am also highly qualified to advise FA's who are interested in going toward the path of independence. I live in Phoenix with my wife Ellen and our golden retriever, Max. We are blessed to live near our married children and grandchildren (now numbering five). I love to incorporate my own personal experiences in helping my clients, Investors and now Financial Advisors deal with the challenge’s they face; whether they are trying to figure out whether to make a change or go independent or to start their own practice. I bring real world experience to helping you make the best decision and I am not afraid of telling you that you are best served by staying where you are if that is the right answer. I take great pride in helping Financial Advisors thoroughly evaluate new career opportunities in a thoughtful way. I am currently serving as the Chairman for the board of The Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Phoenix and on the board of The Joy Bus Diner, a nonprofit restaurant that serves weekly meals to cancer patients.
