About Lee Peters

The common thread in all my work experience is problem solving. Whether working on improving an experimental protocol in the lab, troubleshooting a customer’s complex issue, or designing a more efficient workflow for my direct reports, tackling tough problems is something I am good at and love doing. Although I only recently became a leader, in the formal sense, I have always found myself acting as a leader and mentor. As I became a leader in 2019, my first years in leadership were turbulent. I have had the challenges of terminations, hiring, budgeting, reviews and finally the process of coping with the COVID crisis. I have also been involved at a high level with confidential corporate development such as partnership agreements and joint ventures. A major component of my professional success is my ability to learn quickly, think outside the box and create novel solutions to complex problems. No matter the role I am in, I will always strive to learn as much as I can and master the techniques and processes, so that when I encounter a related circumstance, I can adapt and improve to succeed. Numbers are a language that I have become fluent in. During my time studying and working in the sciences, recognizing trends, calculating variances, and creating a visually digestible interpretation of raw data was a daily occurrence. During my time in leadership, I would use analysis to interpret and forecast productivity and sales data.
