About Lee Sampson

Diagnosed with Slipped Capital Femoral Epiphysis (SCFE) at 13 years old going into high school, was told I would never play football again and had to get 10in screws in both hips. This was devastating news at the time, I had many ups and down but never quit. After high school I shipped off to begin my collegiate athletic and academic career at City College of San Francisco. We went 13-0 my freshman year to win the 2021 state championship. This is a special experience and accomplishment because of the harsh reality of junior college football in California. There are no scholarships, meal plans, or housing meaning you have to deal with real world issues while balancing the responsibilities of a student athlete. From there I attended Garden City Community College in Kansas for my sophomore year where I started and competed for a NJCAA D1 school. I then decided to attend Davenport University in 2023. Since being here I've maintained a 3.5 GPA and received dean's list honors twice. I'm currently doing an Inside Sales internship with Fifth Wheel Freight and set to graduate April 2025 with a BBA. I'm excited to be entering the workforce soon and look forward to being a great addition to any company that hires me. I’ve learned from my past experience that in order for any team or business to win each member must uphold the standard and represent the brand well no matter the circumstance and I am committed to doing just that.
