Luckily, I’m obsessed with admin, perfecting practices, and providing support. I say obsessed; it’s more like an itch deep inside my brain that can only be soothed by getting everything organised and running smoothly. What can I say, it’s how I get my professional vibes. I’m not going to lie and say this was my dream job. My younger self would be ashamed that I never became a Jedi Knight, but I’ll settle for creating my own company alongside a fantastic friend and inspirational business partner. The journey to Atlas SEO was long but not overdue. My introduction to SEO was in 2014 with a small, digital marketing agency. I quickly learned the ropes and became well versed in the art of content production and optimisation, before moving into link building. It is in this field where I earned my stripes by developing several, unique research methods and intuitive practices to produce unparalleled results. Creating these insightful methods proved to be the catalyst that drove me to create my own business. I always found SEO interesting before, but when I took it to the next level, it transformed into a passion. I found myself driven by the want to learn and create more until that want became a need. I needed to take things to the next level, and that’s where I am now, the COO of a business that I co-founded. Self-flattery aside, it’s not about the ego of being your own boss. For me, it’s about embarking on an exciting journey and creating an environment in which I always dreamed of working. This journey has really only just begun, and with the growth we’ve enjoyed so far, it’s going to be one hell of a ride.
