I am an experienced mechanical nuclear engineer with a proven track record in managing new projects and maintenance activities during the Royal Navy Submarine Service. During my rich career I have acquired an excellent level of technical acumen, specialising on nuclear steam raising plant and submarine ships systems, combined with the ability to manage complex projects and maintenance activities from planning stage through to conclusion. I pride myself on my managerial capabilities and I derive a great sense of satisfaction in supporting junior colleagues in their tasks and in realising their potential. I am also committed to my own development completing a number of professional development courses. Engaging in such a complex and challenging sector I possess a strong working knowledge of all health and safety and regulatory requirements and am able to ensure their compliance at all times. I demand high levels of accuracy from both my team and myself, and act all times with integrity and professionalism.
