Education focused in Mechanical Technician - Millwright from Durham College. I am seeking a full-time apprenticeship to further my knowledge in the industry. I have my own transportation and a class G driver's license. I am skilled in interpersonal skills, a high level of accuracy, teamwork, written communication, and leadership development. Proven problem-solving and analytical skills able to execute mathematical operations accurately, and manage the use of time and other resources to complete projects. I have obtained a working at heights certificate, with experience operating a scissor lift, counterbalance forklift, reach truck, work assist vehicle and an electric pallet truck. I have experience welding, stick, oxy-fuel, mig, and tig. I have sufficient knowledge and practice of the Occupational Health and Safety Act as well as training in the safe use and care of various hand and power tools. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating safety precautions. Completing my first year of college I will have approximately 252 hours of experiential learning. As a guideline to all skills obtained throughout my studies at Durham College, I have all course outlines for the program available to review.
