About Lee Walter

With over 25 years in leadership roles at Adidas and Nike in product merchandising Men's and Women's apparel and footwear, I bring a deep-rooted passion for sport, fitness, and performance. I’m driven by the belief that sport is a catalyst for transformation—physically, mentally, and socially. Sport cultivates resilience, builds self-confidence, strengthens communities, and promotes mental well-being. My obsession with sports as a multi sport athlete, and their unique cultures, have inspired a lifelong passion for creating and driving consumer-lead product vision, strategy, and roadmaps that deliver long-term financial growth. This passion has enabled me to work across a wide variety of sports and disciplines, most recently managing the apparel businesses for Women's Training, Sportswear, and Sports at Nike. I'm very proud of my proven track record of creating industry defining products and collections have helped to shape the look of sport for athletes, globally. I’m equally passionate about enabling brands to create access to products and experiences that inspire, motivate, and look great. The barriers to sport are increasing as programs are getting defunded and sport specialisation is increasing. Ensuring that everyone has equal access to the sports they love, including the product they need to participate in those sports, is critical to society and future genterations. I believe that this is the power that sport, atheletics, and competition play and defines my 'why' when it comes to why I do what I do. As a mentor and leader, I take responsibility for empowering the next generation of visionary creators and change-makers. I’m committed to fostering environments where innovation meets purpose, and where future leaders are equipped and empowered to redefine the future of sport. I love to see people that I've managed and mentored shape the future with their own vision and strategies.
