About Leeann Lyons

I have been out of the workforce 2022-2024 due to my own health condition. I am excited to rebuild, looking to work in a customer service role. Most recently I worked at Utah Transit Authority (UTA) for 7 years in customer service call center from January 2015 - February 2022. I was a representative for several years in a high pressure and fast paced environment. While this was in the transit industry, my skills translated very well. The other call center work I have done was at Discover Card for approximately one year during the early 1990s. It was an early introduction to banking. At UTA I developed strong administrative skills: type 65+ wpm, phone call center skills, escalated customer concerns, social media service updates, scheduling, teamwork, team building, met deadlines, reporting, communication with internal and external customers. A few of my soft skills include: empathy, kindness, and taking accountability. I worked on internal software and databases, used the Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Outlook, Office 365, Teams. In my past I have also managed various part-time jobs while raising 6 children. These jobs were in other customer service roles. My education is an AA Degree which included a Paralegal Certificate. At that time I became Westlaw Certified, among other documentation, research and communication skills. My focus had been in banking and insurance claims. One of the highest compliments I have ever received was from the owner of Draper Bank and Trust, Dewey Bluth. He told me I was the best teller he had ever hired. I also worked at Zions Bank in their transaction reconciliation department. I developed attention to detail, ten-key data entry, balancing, working efficiently and providing excellent customer service. The Paralegal work I have done include word processing, document creation, correspondence, support for 1 up to 20 attorneys, insurance claims, investment banking and vehicle accident intake forms, filing systems. As a child my family owned and operated a home based business in the arts and crafts industry. This was a very successful business. The accomplishment I am most proud of is earning our business a spot on the home shopping network QVC. In conclusion, I am excited to return to work. I will be an asset to any company I serve.
