Presently Finance Administrator at Polytarp, North York, Toronto, Ontario. MBA Finance, Licensed Stockbroker and Fellow of the Chartered Governance Professional, UK (FCG). Worked at the State Investment Corporation Ltd (SIC Group) for the past 28 years as a Finance Executive and has had wide ranging experiences in the field of Finance, Accounting, Administrative and Corporate matters. Was also a Director of various companies within the SIC Group, namely, Caudan Development Co Ltd, La Farge Cement Co Ltd, Cyber Properties Investment Ltd (CPIL) and also the Chairperson of the Finance Committee and Director of Mauritius Educational Development Company Ltd. Additional Responsibilities: Preparation of the statutory Financial Statements and administration of MJTI Property Co Ltd, Investment Support Program (ISP), Domaines Les Pailles Ltee and SIC Management Services Ltd. Following the COVID-19, monitoring of corporate guarantees on loans issued to financial, leisure, aviation and tourist enterprises and social sectors in difficulties, to the tune of 7 Billion Rupees. To sum up, the first 16 years of my career was at Port Louis Fund Ltd, an open-ended fund and Capital Asset Management Ltd, the holding company, where I was in charge of the preparation of statutory financial statement and was also acting as the Corporate Governance Officer on the Board and Committees of both companies.
