About Leeman E. Stevens

I'm currently working as a Product Dev Engineer for Garrett Advancing Motion in Carmel IN. My immediate previous experience was with Holley Performance Products, in a mechanical engineering role where I contributed to the mechanical design and drafting for exhaust manifolds, fluid fittings and hoses, and various other performance parts in sheet metal, billet and machined forgings. I formerly worked as a Product Dev Engineer / Industrial Designer for Rev-a-Shelf, the leader in kitchen and bath organization. I specialized in product design, electrical / electronics / IOT technology, and photorealistic product rendering. I have extensive experience in consumer electronics design, testing and certification, with a focus in R&D and advanced new product development, with experience managing both interns and engineers. I also worked in a Mechanical Engineering / R&D Engineering role for HeathCo LLC, specializing in Consumer Electronics, Rapid Prototyping, and Mechanical Design. I also spearheaded manufacturing/assembly and VA/VE, creating the next generation of video security lights, RF chimes and WiFi chimes and decorative lights. I am currently named on several utility and design patents in LED and conventional lighting technology. Many of my prototypes and products have been shown at CES 2018/2019. My private design consulting under Renaissance Engineering Co. has pioneered several consumer electronics, firearms, and automotive products. My hobbies include photography, firearms, drag racing, charcoal drawing, and writing pieces for piano and guitar.
