Background

About Leen Abusaid

Currently interning at Pangea ETS, I support initiatives focused on migrant women’s rights, legal empowerment, and social inclusion in Italy. This role deepens my engagement with gender justice and migration, building on over three years of experience in project coordination, public diplomacy, and advocacy—spanning from Palestine to Italy. My background includes work with institutions like Università degli Studi di Siena and SDSN Youth Mediterranean, where I developed and managed projects at the intersection of sustainability, human rights, and intercultural dialogue. Guided by decolonial methods and a strong commitment to social justice, I aim to foster inclusive communities and amplify the voices of those often unheard. My work is rooted in the belief that meaningful change happens when dignity, equity, and collective well-being are placed at the center of every initiative.
