About Leendert Hordijk

I am a driven professional with experience in operational leadership and creating highly motivated teams. Demonstrated my skills in people management, planning and execution of projects in fiercely competitive, stressful, and fast-paced environments. As a commissioned officer in the Netherlands Marine Corps I learned to lead under pressure in crisis situations in Iraq and the Gulf of Aden, and managed departments in the daily business operations. During my professional career I have been involved and responsible for the organization of security operations, military exercises and worked as a project manager. In this period I have gained a lot of experience in the planning, execution, monitoring, training and advising in an international, and intercultural sensitive context. As well as being in charge of security detachments and implementing safety and security measures on- and offshore.
