About Leif Aronsen

Prior to pursuing my studies at the University of Hartford, I worked as a physical therapy aide for over two years at the Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Centers of Windsor, CT. During my academic career, I was able to complete three full clinical placements which included: 1) Concentra Outpatient in Wallingford CT; 2) Norwalk Hospital Outpatient Rehab Facility; and 3) Bridgeport Hospital In-Patient Acute Care including ICU’s and critical burn unit care. I also had the privilege of being published in our independent research study regarding concurrent validity and reliability of goniometry vs. visual estimation along with several of my colleagues at the University of Hartford. I have a passion for physical therapy, specifically in manual therapy and advanced exercise, and look forward to starting my career with Select Physical Therapy in Vernon. I strive to become the most effective, personable, and knowledgeable clinician in my region, as I am a committed lifetime learner.
