About Leif Oksendahl

It has been my pleasure to serve our Country in the US Coast Guard for over 25 years serving multiple positions, including Executive Management, Senior Executive advisement, workforce development, Project/Program Management, and Strategic Policy Development/Implementation. I have had the outstanding opportunity of living in nearly every corner of the country and traveling across the globe as part of my service; this exposure to other cultures, diverse populations, and incredible people has shaped my way of thinking, managing, and leading. Presently, I am the IT Rating Force Master Chief, responsible to and for the enlisted Information Systems Technician workforce and the associated training, performance qualifications, policies, competencies and assignment criteria/creation throughout the Coast Guard. Working as a Talent Development Manager, I have demonstrated the ability to profoundly impact performance through the design and deployment of training and for the reform, enhancement and advancement of both individual organizational goals and objectives. I specialize in needs assessment, curricula development, staff development, and leadership training. I also link corporate vision with delivery of desired results through empowerment, development, and utilization of people, processes, and technology to improve talent management processes, and efficiency.
