Background
About Leigh Casey
Recently, I was the Grade 2 teacher at the American International School of Bolivia. Working with a class of 29 native Spanish speakers challenged me to pursue innovative ways to differentiate instruction, bridge cultural gaps, and maintain an engaging, motivating, and supportive classroom environment. Bolivia has ignited my passion for teaching and I have grown as both an individual and as a professional. I have relocated to Ottawa in January 2016, and I hope to continue to share my commitment, enthusiasm, and passion for learning with students as an educator, where I can foster my noble purpose of inspiring lifelong learning while building citizenship and values.
